About Me

Travelling together, we offer a broad range of artisan, management, teaching and building skills and experience. We have hosted helpers ourselves, have travelled extensively and enjoy meeting new people and discovering new cultures. Having taken early retirement, life has revolved around our own building, designing and gardening projects. We live in a mountainous region of France, which encourages an active life. Hiking, snow-shoe walking, ski-ing, cycling and pilates all feature in our home life, and we love to explore on foot whenever we travel, and discover the real countryside of where we are staying. A wide, seasonal range of fresh ingredients making cooking and eating an utter pleasure here in the Pyrennees, but we also enjoy tasting new foods. We do not usually drink alcohol, but are happy to raise a glass if there is a special celebration. Our attitude to life is positive, we are easy-going and respectful. As caring parents and grand-parents, we are happy if there are children around. We are blessed to have many friends of all ages, from many walks of life, and believe that the warmth of their friendship adds immeasurably to who we are. Work projects have tended to dominate the past couple of years, but we will be ready to travel in Autumn 2016, and look forward to contributing to the goals and projects of others this year.
