Working outdoors – I possess a genuine passion and natural skill for working outdoors, having enjoyed working for 1 month in a Mountain Hos in the Canadian Wilderness, providing general upkeep and maintenance of the hos, including fixing the water powered generator, cleaning, dealing with queries and providing security.
I have completed a 3 day dog sledding expedition in the Arctic Circle in Norway. Duties included setting up camp as a small team, being in charge of my own pack of husky dogs, ensuring transferring the dogs from sled to bed and vice versa, feeding the dogs and caring for any injuries (initial first aid).

About Me

I am a friendly, open minded and relaxed person with a thirst for life and adventure. In my spare time I play the flute, hike, walk, cross stitch, cycle, practise yoga and read. I enjoy reading articles on interesting situations from around the world, books (some favourites include Women Who Run with the Wolves, 1984, On the Road, Little Women). I have 2 pet budgies, but I love all animals (being a vegetarian.) I am very interested in gardening and flowers, I have my own allotment patch which I am using to practise growing my own vegetables. I love music; 60s music, 70s music, 80s music, 90s Manchester music, rock, world, rap, indie, punk, reggae, ska, classical - all music! I am sociable and enjoy walking, drinking watching films and dancing with friends. Family is very important to me and I spend as much time as possible with my Grandmother who is also my best friend.
