Whitewater Ski Resort
 Ski patrol

2021/22 Season – 2022/23 Season

Our main duties are the safety of our guests and ensuring we have the right equipment to respond to and assist first aid calls on mountain. Other duties include opening ski runs after avalanche control, practicing first aid and avalanche scenarios, driving toboggans, and marking hazards and boundary lines clear and visible.

2020/21 Season – 2021/22 Season

As an instructor we assess guest abilities during lessons and give instruction to improve riding and technique while safely travelling the mountain and using suitable terrain for lessons and skill development.

 

Kokanee Mountain Zipline
Guide

June 2021 - September 2021

The first thing we do with the guests is go over safety while out on course. We manage all their equipment to ensure it is properly connected to a safety line or zipline. Other duties include proper radio etiquette, checking all harnesses and brake ropes are in good condition and providing a great customer experience. 

 

Canadian Wilderness Adventures
Mechanized Guide

June 2019 – Sept 2019

As an ATV guide, we would show our guests how to use the machines and proper riding technic and assess riding abilities. Customer experience was a big part of the job so we would try to pick terrain that was exciting but within the scope of the group, whether it be technical trails or sightseeing.

 

Whistler Blackcomb
Dinner Tour Lead Hand

November 2018 -April 2019

As the lead hand for Whistler Blackcomb's Fondue tour, my job was to ensure everything transitioned smoothly from day operations to the dinner service. This includes snowmobile staff up the mountain, helping the chef with food preparation and serving food and drinks.
