My skills

I am a conscientious hard working person with the ability to “make things happen”. I am a well-balanced individual with my learning and my experiences to date giving me a well-rounded perspective with everything I am involved in. My work in retail has allowed me to interact with members of the public and I am now able to communicate well with everyone I have the opportunity of meeting.

The ability to work on my own, as well as being a key member of any team, mean I can contribute postively to all situations, to achieve the results required.

From my marketing internship in Cape Town, I learnt the importance of team work and delegation in order to ensure needs are met.

Further work experience was completed at a Funeral Directors, where I experienced first-hand the devastating effects grief has on a family, and the importance of empathy and compassion at this difficult time. This particular work experience pushed me to my limits both physically and emotionally, and due to this really grew my confidence in a working environment.

About Me

I’m an outgoing individual with a good sense of humour and a love of life. I always try to make the best out of any situation; I take everything in my stride and do so with a smile. Travelling has always been a passion of mine and the chance to experience the culture of other countries is an opportunity I try not to miss. Although I’d much rather be eating my way around the world than exercising around it; a hobby of mine is swimming, and has been more many years. Swimming is a time when I can focus all my energy into one activity and clear my mind. So although I no longer swim competitively, it is still as rewarding for me now as it was years ago. When I have a spare moment, I like to spend my time emerged in crime/thriller novels, or factual books and true stories, because I love expanding my knowledge of the world we live in and storing (sometimes useless) facts about different subjects. Music is a real love of mine, with my taste ranging from rock to rap and everything in between. I’m always more than happy to put on some music and dance, as I try not to take myself too seriously and I aim have fun at any given opportunity. However, I also realise that some situations call for seriousness and I have the ability to act accordingly. I see life as an incredible opportunity to explore the world and all the wonders in it. Life is, unfortunay, too short; so I try to live each day to the fullest and fill them with new and exciting experiences.
