MYP (Middle Years Program) and DP (Diploma Program) Coordinator
Served as the school’s MYP coordinator and DP coordinator for the schools application to become an IB school. Coordinated all aspects of the school’s application for authorization, which included writing of school policies (Admissions, Assessment, Academic Honesty, Technology), school philosophy, ethics codes, staff contracts, curriculum outlines, and other documents. Interacted directly with school board to ensure that documents met both school and IBO standards. Designed templates for numerous admin procedures, used MS Access VB to design teaching schedules, translated Arabic and English documentation. Trained teachers in writing and presenting lesson plans and curricula. Developed short- and long-term budgets for the school. Mar Qardakh was authorized for the Middle Years Program October 2014, and for the Diploma Program in February 2015.
