About Me

***We are currently looking for a long term adventure in North America***

Hey there! Our names are Ashley and Austin, aka the A-Team.

Ashley attended UW-Whitewater and graduated with a Bachelor's of Business Administration, though her true passions are plants, gardening and traveling. During her senior year, she had the opportunity to work for the sustainability office and be the campus garden manager. She managed the university's greenhouse, prairie seed collection, campus community garden, volunteer sessions and much more. She has knowledge on almost everything garden and plants, like vegetable care, permaculture, edible landscaping, etc. Ashley had the opportunity to design and implement a campus garden that broke the record for produce donated to the local food pantry: 1,600 pounds in a 50x50 foot garden bed. During her free time, she heavily studies permaculture, sustainable living, gardening, and botany. In her lifetime, she's been to British Columbia, Germany, Austria, Luxembourg, Ontario, and 21 US States.

Austin is a very passionate artist and spends his time painting and drawing. He is also a proficient snowboarder and has traveled to Colorado to ride the mountains. The work Austin does can wow anyone; he has a great work ethic and can do almost anything you need him to. Some projects he's done have been a giant rock retaining wall/planter, installed a drip irrigation system for a garden, gathered rocks and built a simple greywater pond, planted trees, patios, rock pathways, flower planting, bed lining, and much more landscaping and handyman work.

After our first trip in British Columbia, we discovered that we love plants, gardening and landscaping. We are looking to learn much more about gardening, horticulture, permaculture, sustainable living, farming, and landscaping to increase our knowledge of each area. We are both very compassionate and caring people always looking to lend a hand! Before we met each other, we both had aspirations to travel. It seems to be something that runs in both of our blood. Meeting new people and learning new and exciting things is something that we both enjoy very much!

We are currently living off grid on the Oregon Coast and are looking for a long term stay on an organic market farm, hobby farm, organic garden, permaculture homestead, eco village, or sustainable home in North America. We would like an opportunity to show our skills and passions to someone who would need permanent help, or possibilities for future employment. Please send us an if you are interested in having us!
