AUPAIR
Vidal Adell Family, Blanes (Spain)
The main activity of my job was to take care of two children of 4 and 6 years old when their parents were at work; prerequisite was to speak to the children exclusively in English. In this way the foreign language becomes a natural game and it is easy to learn, since it is never imposed or claim, but part of interpersonal relationships with children and is assimilated in a spontaneous way. At the end of the 3-month stay, the children have shown their ability to understand conversations in English and to make short phrases in common use.
