I have spent over ten years working with the elderly and vulnerable people with different and various needs from physical disabilities to mental health. Four of those years I have spent as a field supervisor where I was in charge of over 30 carers and clients. My job was to check in on all clients making sure all risks were assessed putting safeguarding measures in place, while working close with social services. Also making sure daily reports were up date. Another part of my job was to organise training for all the carers to be trained for their specific clients needs . Going to safeguarding meetings, reporting any concerns of abuse or change of circumstances to social services. Keeping all client and cater files updated and always being prepared for a CQC (Quilty care commission) making sure clients receive the best care possible while working close with family, doctors, nurses, and everyone involved.
