About Me
I am a current student going into my second year at Santa Clara University in San Jose, California. My classes have focused in business and writing, and I am intending a double major in English and Communications, with a minor in music. I've worked a variety of jobs, including marketing for a software company, dish washing, and leading a children's summer camp. I play both the piano and guitar with some proficiency, but I'm better at singing. I write a bit of my own music, poetry, and prose, and hope to pursue a career in a creative field. I enjoy reading Kerouac, Hemingway, and Joyce, and enjoy listening to alternative rock, punk, and jazz. Thanks to my mother's heritage, I can understand Farsi quite well, but have trouble speaking it. I hope to improve my language skills not only in Farsi, but in French as well. I live to experience the best stories so I can one day write about my adventures.
