Professional Experience
Manager, Import-Export, Commercial Mediator Current - 2013
Arabeth Srl, Fashion Company
Bari, Italy
I am presently managing Arabeth Srl, a fashion company that I created in 2013. After being raised in the fashion industry, I was inspired by my curiosity and my trips around the world that made me develop an interest in the international concept of fashion. I created my own brand KHAMSIN which reflects all the ideas, images, smells and sounds stored in my experiences of life and at the same time I try to build an international team as well as let my company grow and increase its success.
Freelance Writer / Translator Current - 2010
In the last seven years, I have been living as a globetrotter. Writing about what made my daily life exceptional there, was for me a way to feel more connected to those countries and to gain better insights on the specific culture. What started as a personal blog, became a freelance job. Before writing my piece, I made an in-depth analysis of what was already available to the public, so I could bring a new fresh angle to the story. As a translator, I am now working for the translation of a book, written by an Italian author and I am very proud of being part of such a great journey. Working as interpreter and translator, enables me to constantly strengthen my languages skills, while meeting new people and getting to know very different and interesting topics. I currently speak 5 languages, with an excellent / native proficiency in English, French and Italian.
Italian Teacher Jan 2016 – Dec 2016
Los Angeles, CA
Last year, while I was living in California due to family reasons, I realized how much I would have enjoyed teaching my native language and the beautiful Italian culture. I started to teach at home to several groups of people, mostly adults and it turned out a great experience. I tried to plan the lessons in a fun and dynamic way, based on the audience. Teaching my mother tongue language revealed a different way of learning more about myself and my heritage.
Project Manager Assistant Sept 2013 – Dec 2013
Italian Chamber of Commerce
Quito, Ecuador
Very challenging and valid experience, even if short. Working as a PM Assistant at the Chamber of Commerce, offered me a wider vision of the economic environment, business and occupation, as well as the negative aspects (often invisible). I chose to go to Latin America that year after many years spent in the MENA region because I felt the urge to know more about that side of the world. I absorbed knowledge about the international cooperation, business agreements, mediation, roles of the embassies, that made me understand where the development of a country is based, what are the elements of the PIL, as well as growing as a person and getting to know a new culture.
Researcher on the war in Syria and Refugees Emergency June 2013 – Sept 2013

The CDTM (Centre de documentation Tiers Monde) is a library and Centre of documents. Space of exchanges and knowledge with the aim of teaching about the axe North - South, the sustainable development, the human rights and the international solidarity.
