 The Cairo Metro is the rapid transit system in Greater Cairo, Egypt. It was the first of the three full-fledged metro systems in Africa and the first in the Arab world to be constructed. LILLEY -MISR Eng. JV) is the subcontractor for preparation phases of Project GREAT CAIRO WASTEWATER, Infrastructure for Egypt's Greater T3. Cairo wastewater project supplied a new system for Greater Cairo covering an urban area of 700km. The facilities were designed to cater for the envisaged doubling of the city's

population - then million - by the year 2000.

·       Tasks were Plans, schedules, assigns, and evaluates personnel involved in operation, installation, maintenance activities of the ecommunications system.

·       Perform quality control duties and responsibilities of the work being performed.

·        Ensure that subcontractor is fully executing and following his contracted scope of work.

·        Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.

·        Find subcontractor non-compliance with safety, health, and environmental quality standards.

·       Find conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team for resolution.
