As a Registered General Nurse, I have experience on general wards as well as predominantly Cardiac Intensive Care (as a practice development sister). A keen educator and people person, devising and delivering bespoke Infection Prevention education programmes in care/residential homes was a success of mine. For the last 15+ years, I have been working in Infection Prevention & Control in Hospitals, Offender Health, Public Health, Community Trusts and with Voluntary Services. Success required tenacity, patience and humility, as well as the commitment to success.
About Me
Walking in the countryside is my favourite pursuit. I keep myself fit by exercising most days. As a vegetarian, growing my own fruit & veg and keeping chickens on my allotment ensures I eat healthily. I read a lot, I enjoy salsa dancing and love motorbikes. Visiting art galleries and theatre performances feeds my soul.
