About Me

We are a South African-Hungarian couple with two small kids, traveling permanently. Ron is a certified tour guide who has led numerous horseback expeditions and wildlife photography workshops to Mongolia and South America. He also worked as a survival and bush-craft trainer as well as a guide to archaeological sites throughout Central America. Kata is a music teacher with expertise in teaching kids, music and languages.
We are both experienced volunteers, having worked in Europe, the Middle East, Central-South America and Asia on more than 50 locations in the past 9 years while travelling the world with our kids. Ron has studied carpentry and worked as a construction foreman for many years, Kata worked mainly as a cook and restaurant manager. Most of our work experience is with agriculture, construction and repair works, tourism, photography and catering. We can build furniture, install windows and doors, lay bricks, install electric networks, do household plumbing, build walls and roofs or even smaller buildings, work with cement, adobe and straw bricks, build with sand bags or hay bales, etc. Ron can train horses, set up household cheese making workshops and plan small-scale permaculture projects. He has a licence to drive a tractor or a truck, operate a chainsaw and strimmer and has worked at cutting and baling alfalfa, ploughing, pulling furrows in vineyards etc.

Other work expertise: training horses, animal husbandry, setting up permaculture and vegetable gardens, poultry breeding, cheese and meat product technology, wildlife management, forest management, assembling computers and installing software, general garden work, teaching children classes, tour guiding, archaeology, marketing campaigns, etc.
