I worked for yrs for the grounds crew at ferris state university doing general ground maintenance and landscaping. I would do weeding, weedwacking, planting, mulching, etc. Then i work for 1 year in a doing landscape maintenance. I would go to peoples houses and take care of the gardens for them. Then I worked for the united states department of agriculture doing agriculture research for years. I would do farm maintenance including fertilizing, trimming, weeding, pesticide applications,and irrigation maintenance. I also did field research where I collect leaf and root samples, did tree health assessments, disease identification, and hybrid breeding. While working at the USDA i also worked part time at a hydroponic and aquaponic farm where I help on upkeep of the hydroponic system, replanted the system, and ran the aquaponic system. For the aquaponic system I monitored and corrected water quality, feed the fish, and cleaned the system as needed. I have a Associates degree in automotive service, an Associated degree in Horticulture, and a certificate in Aquaculture from Indian River State College.
About Me
My biggest hobbies are music and nature. I love blues and bluegrass and play guitar. I love to go hiking, working on farms, and going to local markets. I like to read about science and eastern philosophy. My general outlook on life is to keep it simple, enjoy what is, and to be kind to everything. I am a quite person who goes with the flow of things.
