Jan 2014 – Present Sphere Design & Architecture, Durban - Candidate Architect
• Principle Agent responsibilities for Brooklyn Development, Umhlali (Design to Construction of 41 units, a gatehouse and a clubhouse). Part of the Architectural project team.
• Project Architect - Presentation and Architectural Design, tender documentation, construction design, contractual administration and site management of various private Residential Projects.
• Master Plan design and management for Guest House and farm in Verulam, KZN.
• Submission of various projects to heritage councils and local authorities.
• Design and documentation for office Interior Design projects.

Apr 2011 – Dec 2011 Walker Smith Architects, Durban - Architectural Designer
• Principle Agent responsibilities at a Residential Construction Site at Phezulu Game Estate, Botha’s Hill (Design to Construction as well as Interior Design and co-ordination of finishes).
• Design of various Residential Projects.
• Architectural Design and Presentation drawings – preparation of 3D renders and conceptual design brochures for clients.
• Directing meetings with clients, suppliers and contractors.
• Preparation and administration of Council Submission Drawings.
• Drawing and specification of Tender Drawings.
• CAD, technical, site work and general office administration duties.

2006 HABITAT FOR HUMANITY
Assisted in the building of low cost housing in Sherwood, Durban for the Habitat for Humanity International Organisation.

2004 SMILE Outreach English Skills Community Programme
I taught a group of 8 children from a local rural primary school the basics of the English Language for a period of 6 months.
Awarded a Special Award for this programme.

2002 – 2005 ST. MARY’S Interact Club
A school based Outreach Group organising blanket drives, food collections and fundraising events for various charities.
