Objective:
Specialising in Illustration and Graphic Design for publications and surface print. Though an odd mix, I find myself drawn to both Children’s illustrations, as well as fashion and textiles illustration & Graphics. I have learnt a lot over the last three years and am keen to shine and move on up to the next big challenge. I work with mixed media, 2D and 3D, and keep up to date with the latest CC and Microsoft software. After recently completing and publishing children’s books, I wish to expand my expertise.
I have also been working part time in an administrative role in Human Resources, which has helped me develop other skills such as book keeping and data recording, something I find important to being a freelancer and self employed, but I also think would apply in a publishing based role. I talk with a large of people on a daily basis, organisation and timekeeping is key, and I find my extensive Excel and other Microsoft program knowledge is essential and applicable to any position I may apply for in the present or future.
Designing is all I have wanted to do, and I am ready to rise up to whatever comes my way, learn from it, dedicate my time, attention and profession to it.

Experience: Freelance
Plurus Books; A stem of Wimbledon Publications Feb 2014 - present
Currently hired on a Freelance bases, creating Children's books for an international market teaching basic pre -school essentials such as s, shapes, colours, letters etc. ABC Zoo is a series of Books that communicate these skills through loveable characters through the Exciting scenery of a zoo, follow the zookeepers as they care for these amazing animals. As well as creating my own books I was given the task last year to edit the content of other picture books, changing margins, crop-lines, book sizes pages, generating and editing barcodes, Editing and translating foreign text, etc. I communicated these new amended versions to international printers and local editors ready in time for the Publishers first launch.
Affinity Trust; Human Resources Administrator Mar 2014 - present
I work in the HR department of a registered charity that dedicates to finding support workers for adults with physical and learning disabilities. My role is to manage the administration aside of our employees, including drawing up contracts, logging personal changes, checking right to works and processing DBS online checking systems, managing outlook and booking meetings, organising training, mentoring others on the online software for staff information and the new recruitment software. Worked for the last three months, with large inputs into clothing design and production.
Experience in textile print and surface design, distributed to high street brands and online sales.
Assisted head designers with draft fashion illustrations, both free hand and technical flat drawings using CS5Design Software. Constantly researching into upcoming trends and forecasting for seasons to come, for develop into further designs and projects.
