My skills
I have a degree in project management, and until my early thirties I managed diverse office and communications projects, mostly for smaller NGOs.
A few years ago I took my first time off, backpacking across Africa -- going overland (and by boat) from Berlin to Cape Town and back. I caught the travel big and 18 months after returning to Berlin I had sold everything to transition to a full-time traveling life. I kicked it off by walking from Berlin to Biarritz, and afterwards have been mostly WorkAwaying with the occasional fruit picking job. Lots of my WA jobs ended up being house (or rather, dog, cat or even gallery) sitting gigs. In addition I was able to brush up on my gardening and painting skills, built a few sites and helped out in hospitality.
Lay I have been working as a n online translator (EN > GER).
