My skills
My work history is broad and varied, which makes me adaptable and able to adjust more readily to challenges found throughout my day. I value finding common ground with others and learning from each person I meet because there is always something new to discover out there. Communication is a skill I have honed over the years. From setting up my own travel route and accommodations across eight states while working as a Chef and Brand Ambassador to working with a tight-knit team in setting up a successful restaurant, I am a go-getter whether I am working solo or collaborating with a team. The ability to work alongside and appreciate a wide variety of people is commonplace in my book. My experiences at the YWCA of Minneapolis afforded me opportunities to learn more about my own privilege and how I can use it in a positive way to bring about meaningful change in the world. Working with confidential information and records has been something that has been entrusted to me early on in my work history and that has followed me to the present day. Privacy and the ethics surrounding that is very important for me to uphold.

About Me
Having traveled around the globe, I am a big fan of learning about people and their cultures wherever I go. As a Buddhist, there is a practice I follow throughout the week. Nature is an amazing inspiration, as are documentaries about people overcoming hardship. Hiking, biking, swimming, and seeking out new plant-based restaurants are enjoyable to me. My wife and child are very important to me. An eclectic mix of music is typically found playing around me. Currently, I've been listening to a lot of classical music.
