I attended air cadets for two years. With cadets I gained a lot of experience working with people within the community, I participated in charity events, such as, bag pack and Armed Forces Day. This allowed me to meet new people, I seized the opportunity and tried plenty of new experiences and learnt how to be more independent.

Adeenbrooks young person's programme

January – May 2018

I volunteered at Addenbrookes as part of a 15 week young persons program. I helped with evening meals, by giving the patients their food, providing assistance, giving encouragement and engaging in conversations to help them feel less lonely.

I am currently volunteering at an age Uk store. I work on the till, I prepare the merchandise to go on display and I ensure that the store is clean and tidy. I volunteer every Sunday from 10 to 4 and have gained valuable experience in a retail environment

Upside down swimming club May 2016 - July 2017

I volunteered at upside down swimming club, it’s a club that helps children with disabilities learn how to swim. I volunteered there for over a year and it helped me develop greater patience, caring and understanding.
