HOSPITALITY EXPERIENCE
Appointed in 2008 as part of the opening team for Corney & Barrow Lime Street; City of London. I successfully worked my way up through roles as Reservations Manager, Sales and Events Manager, to Assistant Manager in Corney and Barrow Masons Avenue London England.
Meeting the individual requirements of each guest and delivering excellent customer service. Supervising and training the team. Managing and establishing an exclusive portfolio of corporate clients, and hosting regular network events to generate new business. Working in collaboration with the central marketing team to create periodical social events to generate new business. Responsibility for the delivery of all events within the business. Regularly collating client feedback and generating business improvement plans. Cash handling. Opening and closing, cashing up. Hosting Events.
TEACHING EXPERIENCE
Safe guarding of young people Teaching assistant to Key stage 3-4. (Age 7- 16) Assisting with class room duties. Facilitating with drama, yoga and running cooking classes . weekly planning. Teaching children with special educational needs. Children with Autism.
Spiritual Counselling Practitioner Qualified 2018
The form of counselling i practice connects talk therapy alongside energy work and integrating of the cognitive mind, combined with body awareness. I assist my clients to make a mind Body connection helping to bring a better awareness on how the body plays an integral role in making informed choices when anxiety is one of the challenges of day to day life. In turn this helps to listen better through the mind body connection.
Holistic Massage with Reiki.
I have combined my massage practice with Reiki which has been a very beneficial and effective treatment with my has seen them make leaps with their awareness of their energy system and connecting to their bodies. This has contributed to their overall well-being and mental health. I use oils and have found working on a floor with a light mattress ideal, if there hasn’t been a massage table available. This allows me to work deeply on my clients and they get the benefits of a deep and profound massage. There is also space for the client to share and express anything that may come up during the session. The space is set, as my spiritual counselling is also utilised during the session.
Spiritual workshops
I have also put together and presented workshops that are about bringing awareness to our ability to connect from a higher conscious perspective. Learning to connect to our inner guidance and intuition. Combining meditation. Hosting creative boarding workshops which allows for the participants to tap into their inner creative. With this, there has been art materials and canvas with modelling clay as a form of expression. All of of there’s workshops, have been a great way for those that have sighted up to really get in touch with their inner vision for living a more fulfilling life.
House and pet sitting
One of my joys is animals, especially the domesticated types. I have owned 2 cats and taken care of others and their dog as well. This has been an opportunity where the owners have needed a trusted and responsible person to care for their pets and home while away. I would be more than happy to factor this as an opportunity to care for animals when needed.
About Me
My hobbies are quite varied. I like to go on log walks/hikes and discover my surrounding area. I love being around nature and respect the environment I find myself in. I enjoy swimming in the sea and find the water calming. Cooking and hosting, I really enjoy seeing people happy and satisfied whenever I host. Keeping fit and healthy through a yoga practice and working out at the gym. Meditation and keeping a spiritual practice, all which help me connect to self and others.
