I am a highly competent young person with well-developed communication skills. I have a strong ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently if required. My customer service skills are of a very high standard and I strive to utilise these skills to the best of my abilities. I am a team leader, motivator and sensitive to the needs of others. Work Experience:
Eye for Design 2009
During my time here I learnt how to use computer programs such as Word, Outlook, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator etc. I completed design projects, to brand, market and create new logos for products.
Birchanger Nursery 2012
My duties were to look after the children, keeping them safe and allowing them to enjoy their educational experience. I also played a helping role in the running of the nursery. I learnt a variety of skills, especially communicating and working with a team of people and assessing the needs of others.
F L Facility Services Ltd 2009 - 2013
Working as a cleaner I had to work within a strict time scale, operate heavy machinery, follow instructions and be polite and friendly to the pupils and teachers. This was a part-time job while I was still a student, enabling me to earn my own money and to be more independent.
Mountfitchet Castle and Toy Museum 2013 and 2014
I worked on the reception, greeting and welcoming our customers and being their first impression of the Castle and worked in the shop and in the café preparing and serving food & beverages. After a few weeks I was given the responsibility of working independently in the Toy Museum where I was in charge of the building and payments.
Gotcha! Kids Photography (Australia) 2013
My first job on my gap year in Australia was for ‘Gotcha!’ a mobile children’s photography company. My responsibilities included selling and marketing our products, giving excellent customer service and dealing with payments.
Crazy Acres Farm Shop (Australia) 2014
This job role included a wide range of different tasks such as greeting and serving customers, being a kitchen hand (making coffee and all food from scratch salads, platters etc) waitressing, keeping all work areas clean and tidy, stock taking, sales, handling payments and cashing up.
When I wasn’t in the shop, my other responsibilities were painting, factory work aka labeling, packaging etc. Working outdoors, weeding, planting, checking the sprinklers. I lived on the farm with other staff so I learnt a lot about working well in a team and creating a good working atmosphere.
