I am interested in the welder position as advertised in the site by your organization. The requirements closely match my educational background and past experience. Hereby, I have enclosed my resume to provide detailed information on my qualifications and skills for your review.

 Throughout my past professional career, I have undertaken various important responsibilities with utmost sincerity. Have conducted  fabrication and welding on various metal projects and services. I made measurements and Mark off according to the drawings and layout fittings for weld.

  During one of my recent project at ( Nig Ltd), I leaded a team in the fabrication and welding of vessel for 40,000 litres of underground fuel storage tank.

 Clients name: ExxonMobile filling station Nig, brought a project called (vessel for underground fuel storage tank). According to the client he requested that I should use 5mm tick iron plate to fabricate the fuel tank and he was giving me a task to delivered the project to him approximay in one month time. Meanwhile we're only three welders in my team.

I brought in the 5mm  iron plate, measured and Mark off according to the drawings for the fuel tank. And also assembled H&U iron channel, measured and Mark off according to the drawing for the underground fuel tank (base/standing) chassis.

 Immediay i started the fitting and fabrication process, meanwhile my team where also doing some other welding roles. In my team am the main fitter and I outlined other welding  roles and safety guide lines to my fellow welders in the team. Moreover; Almost three weeks that I have been so much busy on this project, I remembered on that stressful  Friday we have almost gotten to the finishing point for this job.

  But then; all the outside fabricated areas of the fuel tank has finally been welded, although it was then remaining some little finishing up welding inside the tank. But at this point; most of my team welders where complaining that they can't enter inside the tank because, they are not internally balanced enough to endure or adhere to the higher temperature that were inside the tank. So because of this higher temperature inside the tank, they were complaining on finishing up the welding areas that was remaining inside the tank.

  Although to be honest with you,me too was some how exhausted because I was attending to some other welding components,also handling some bolting and tightening, but I talked to my self that we must deliver this fuel tank for painting  on that same Friday. So I quickly entered inside the tank and started welding the remaining fabricated areas.

  Finally after few hours,I finished the welding and came out of the tank,me and my team were very excited to finish the project,and we deliver the fuel tank to the painting section for final processing.

  Results: I Completed the project within three weeks ahead of time schedule before then, I was able to manage workloads,reduced some cost/expenses as much as $1,200, under budget and to universal client acclaim.

  In conclusion when the client came to do final inspection on the project,he was very excited about the fast response,strong penetrated and smooth welds that we did and he was pleased to give me and my team a bonus of $500 for a job well done.

   I acquired the following skills after completing my three years of technical training in fabrication and welding,from technical school, under Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity Nigeria. Example:  * 2G,3G,4G and 6G welding technique.  * Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding,study blueprints,drawings and specifications to determine weld components.  *Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments. (TIG/MIG, SMAW/FLUX-CORE Welding.

 *Fabricate and Weld  Stainless Steel,Cast iron and other aluminium Alloy parts in accordance with specifications.

 *Mark off,fabricate and weld according to tolerance and drawings. *Good interpersonal skills and communication skills,ability to maintain good client relationships, with an urge to work both independently and well in a team. I am positioned to exceed your expectations.

  I enjoy working with the clients of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds and have a demonstrated ability to develop great relationship with them and their families. Moreover,I am trustworthy and responsible person who takes great pleasure in all kinds of my duties. Besides,I am dedicated to work hard and always accept challenges to produce winning outcomes. Over and above, I am an active team player who is able to work effectively with managers and co-workers.
