My skills
The work I have experienced has been met with a variety of skills. I love teaching children and connecting with others and have successfully taught five years of self employed swim lessons, two years of ski lessons at Dagmar, Ontario, biking lessons with Pedal heads summer camp, and triathlon skills with an all girls over night camp (Camp-Ak-O-Mak). I thoroughly enjoy graphic design and have designed for my university (Ryerson University) their radio channel, and for a freelanced based online publication called Revibe. My experience in my academic program has given me the skills to design and create robots using code, become a videographer for local Toronto Bands, and start my own design company. As well I have worked at bar and grill restaurant, Starbucks, and most recently Tree Planting in Northern Ontario.

About Me
Hi! My name is Ashley Stewart. I am 20 years old and have recently decided to make a big directional change in my life. Two years into my undergrad degree at Ryerson University in New Media (Sound design , graphic design, single-multi camera, coding etc) and have decided to take an entire year off to travel the world and explore! I love learning new things wether they are fun or challenging, meeting new people, and taking on unique opportunities. I am from Toronto, Canada and used to live in Vancouver, British Columbia. I am fortunate enough to have travelled all over the world with my family, however I have never worked in a hos abroad before. Although I have never worked in a hos I am a very hard worker. This summer I took on the challenge of tree planting for two months and it was the most difficult but the most brutally honest and rewarding work I have ever done. I enjoy challenges and trying new things, I love meeting people from all over the world and making connections, and am a motivated worker. Outside of work I enjoy graphic design and art. I love to create my own designs and am hoping to launch my own site of clothes with my designs soon! I am a very positive and happy person, and am outgoing when I find a group of people I can can connect too. I am in love with working with young children and love to teach. I have taught swimming and skiing for many years as I am a big sports girl and love swimming, skiing and triathlons. I am so excited about travelling this year and I look forward to working in an area I have yet to explore.
