I worked as a volunteer the full week at Calgary Stampede Aggie days for the 5 heavy and light horse teams this year. My duties were to hold and control crowds of school children and adults as well as a ‘swamper’ on wagons. The breeds I worked with are Percheron, Clydesdale, ¼ horse team, Gypsies, and Belgian.

I am currently on as a ranch hand at a 400 head cow calf ranch, and sheep operation near Black Diamond, Alberta. Calving is done and we just went through our branding. Fencing (barb wire and plank fences) is something we do a lot here. Machinery responsibilities: I can operate a bobcat as well work tractor and know how to work chainsaw.

I am also on Calgary Stampede Heavy Horse Committee. Last preparation for Stampede are being made right now, we just had our Saddle Up and having orientation right now. We do our best to make a terrific 2015 Stampede!

Growing up in Siberia, Russia with outside temperature below -50 we get used to tough and cold conditions, so hardworking is not a problem.

I was also wwoofing on horse summer camp ranch with 50 horses for couple of month, where I learned quite a few things taking care of horses.

I've been playing sports since age 6. And i spent 7 years in swimming team. I’m an extrovert, because being in a team means supporting each other and sharing joy and bad luck together. I really enjoy hiking and just came back from Banff and Lake Louise, where I had the best hikes so far!

The strengths I have are my interpersonal skills and experience combined with the Stampede theme.
