My skills

My name is Amber. I am 22 years old and have many years of experience of working with children at summer camps and after school programs. I am hoping to do some travelling this summer in South East Asia. I thought volunteering would be a good way to immerse myself in the culture and allow me the opportunity to meet new people. In addition to working with children, I have also worked in a of customer service jobs, such as, thrift stores. Overall, I have developed an excellent ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers alike, but I would like to branch out and learn new skills.

About Me

I am taking a few online courses this summer as well. So, my spare time will largely be spent reading or enjoying the outdoors. I like to hike, sightsee and I am hoping to get a chance to surf again (I'm a newbie). I'm also a major foodie; so, I will be checking out the local cuisine. In other words, my days will be long and I will likely be in bed early most nights, however, I still like a good night out occasionally.
