My skills

I am a Florida State graduate with a bachelors in creative writing who has been living in the US Virgin Islands the last three years. As an island girl, I worked as crew on day charter sailing catamarans and fell in love with the sea. I am currently getting my scuba dive masters certification in Byron Bay Australia, as well as (finally) beginning to write about my travels and quirky adventures. I am great working with and leading people and love being part of a team. I was awarded the snorkel tour guide of the year award with Princess Cruise lines 2013-2014. Working on boats has made me into an excellent multitasker. I excel in working under pressure while also making my work environment fun! I am also great with children and hope to use my TEFL certificate which allows me to teach English as a second language. I have taught swim lessons to children as well as adults and am certified to teach skin diving or snorkeling. While at work I always bring a positive and energetic attitude. I am efficient and do quality work in everything that I do. Some would say I can be obsessed, but as Russel Warren said, “obsessed is a word the lazy use to describe the dedicated.”

About Me

I like to live where the land meets the sea! I love free diving, surfing, scuba diving, and anything where I can see or be in the water. I love to read everything! But currently I have gotten into books about spirituality, meditation, clean eating, yoga philosophy, and books about the power of your thoughts. I especially like classic rock music and electronic dreamy songs (like Flume). I also just like making up my own silly little songs. My main goal in life is to be able to walk into any room and be so happy that my positive energy spreads to those around me and leaves everyone with a residual happiness 🙂
