Assess patients, collecting data that aids in correct nursing diagnosis.

• Plan and administer care in the ward following all the rights of drug administration, right route,

right patient, right dose, right time, right drug, right documentation, right response so as to

minimized medical errors.

• Educate patients about lifestyle and their disease conditions.

• Follow up out patients to ensure strict compliance to lifestyle changes and/or medication

• Write daily report and submitted to charge nurse.

• Ensure patients are kept as comfortable as possible through regular check-ins and examinations.

required.

• Collect medical data for patient records, maintaining strict confidentiality.

• Prepare patients for clinical procedures, providing reassurance and practical advice to ease

concerns.

• Evaluate patients at prescribed times to assess conditions and monitor progress against treatment

goals.

• Handle multiple medical emergencies including stroke, cardiac arrests, car accidents, head injuries,

burns, poisoning and physical assaults.

• Assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff and patients.

• Note reactions to psychotropic drugs and other medications.

• Assist the patient in understanding the nature of emotional disturbances and accepting the need

for treatment.

• Perform lifesaving interventions as part of the multi-disciplinary team in the emergency

department.
