I am keen writer, hugely interested in language and teaching. I am very comfortable working within a group or team environment.
I have organised several local events, raising over £500 for Cancer Research UK and the MS society. I made arrangements with the owners of Bramhall village precinct in order to play live music there throughout the day, and promoted the event using flyers and posters and programmes that I had written especially for the occasion.
This kind of charity work is of great importance to me, and I find it very rewarding.
I’m am also comfortable taking a leading or teaching role within a group, having taught music and composition to younger student during these projects, as well as working as a duty manager at Hobgoblin Music over the last year.
I have also written and organised music for several successful theatrical productions, which involved the collaboration of several musicians and writers of various ages and abilities.
I regularly demonstrate high levels of organisation in my academic studies, ranging from coordinating with colleagues and arranging meetings for group work, to the personal organisation required for study, essay writing and meeting deadlines effectively.
This hard work and effective organisation led to me completing my Music GCSE a year early, and obtaining an A* grade.
