Personal Statement
An adventure-seeking, International Business student at Humboldt State University in northern California pursuing real-world experience with the business and Spanish language skills learned at the university level. Years of experience with customer service in restaurants, resorts, front desk positions, retail, and bars (mostly craft breweries) as well as experience building trails, fences and campgrounds for government agencies such as the National Parks Service and the Forest Service. Also, currently using my English and Spanish skills to help teach English as a Second Language through a free program in my community. Looking for a position where I can use my skills to better my future, better the organization I will be working with and to better the world as a whole.

About Me
"Don't worry about dying, worry about not living" is one of my favorite quotes. I consider myself to be a person who lives each day to the fullest whether it be meeting new people and learning about different cultures and different peoples or hiking to the top of a mountain in order to see a new view and to spend some time writing in my journal in order to reflect and express my every thought. I'm the type of person who knows a little about a lot and can get a conversation going off a simple cue from the other person in order to learn more information that that person may know. A very curious girl I am and plan to use that curiosity to write my first book within the next year.
My hobbies include traveling, hiking, spending time at the beach, surfing, reading, writing, trying new crazy foods, drinking beer and pretty much anything that brings a smile to either my own face or someone elses. And although I'm not the best dancer, I love reggae music and love to dance the night away. I also very much like to spend time starring at the huge world map in my room, planning my route I plan to take on a "round the world" trip I am planning.
