Host overview

Left in a trust by a local figure to the municipality, the Backpackers is currently managed by an NGO involved in community outreach with an emphasis on underprivileged schools and tourism promotion in the Eastern Cape. Our current mission is to renovate the facilities while continuing to welcome local schools and groups and backpackers and 100% of the profits earned are reinvested in the property. Once the property will be sufficiently upgraded the proceeds will finance the NGO's projects.
