Akkie currently works as data analyst, and spends her free time with dogs and horses. Twice a week she helps out at a dog day care center where she walks dogs and helps with all other related jobs. She trains 3 Icelandic horses of friends, where she also helps with feeding the horses, meadow maintenance etc.
Stefan works as a team manager of a group mechanics in the elevator business. In his spare time, he works as a gardener and takes on jobs for painting, and other small home renovations.
About Me
We are Akkie (31) and Stefan (36), with our dog Pongo (2). We currently live in a village in the Netherlands, with a small garden, where we have created our own little vegetable garden. We are do-it-yourself persons: when the house needs maintenance, we prefer to do this ourselves.
We enjoy nature and quietness, and therefore, we are orientating on emigrating to Sweden. As a step in our emigration process, we would love to stay at a host to learn about the Swedish way of living outdoor.
