PERSONAL SUMMARY
I am 19 years old From New South Wales, Australia and currently exploring Italy, after just completing a seasonal role in the New South Wales Pre Season Bushfire Inspections of the distribution powerlines. The position as an aerial powerline observer I commenced at the start of the year after completing year 12. I am also currently working towards completing my commercial pilot license. I love to travel, and I would love to explore and learn new cultures and languages. I am hard working and passionate about learning new things, eager to start a new role where I can grow and learn more. I am flexible, adaptable and with my aviation background, proven I can learn quickly. As part of my seasonal break from flying, I am looking for part time work whilst travelling in Italy on a working holiday visa. I love a social work environment and I thrive in social settings where I can meet new people. I am fluent in English and know some basic Italian, but I learn fast and am excited to learn the language. I hold a current Australian Driver’s license and I have a current certificate in first aid training.

AERIAL OBSERVER FOR POWERLINE INSPECTIONS (2024)

· Apart of my job was to notify the pilot of dangers and hazards whilst flying at a low level.
· Conduced low-level powerline surveys through visual inspection
· I was responsible for visually inspecting faults or hazards with the powerlines throughout rural New south wales Australia for preseason bushfire inspection.
· My role was to navigate and maintain communication with the pilot at all times whilst visually inspecting the powerlines.
· I was trained to understand hazards and faults in powerlines which can potentially start bushfires.
· I was trained in aerial photography and a part of my job was to take photos while flying of the faulty powerlines.
· I was trained on how to navigate the maps and give the pilot specific commands on where to go
· As the aerial observer I was the team leader and It was my responsibility to direct the pilot where to go.
· Apart of my responsibilities included making calls to customers of essential energy to notify them of our activity.
· I was responsible for booking and tracking all our accommodation whilst we stayed away for work.
· I was trained to program the system which collected data of the location of the faults.
· I completed daily reports through excel spreadsheet of all the faults and uploaded all of the data.
· I was responsible for transporting the work vehicle to different destinations and keeping track of finances for fuel and accommodation.
· I assisted the pilot in refuelling the aircraft and keeping the aircraft clean and maintained.

About Me
I am currently taking a break from my flight training whilst on a working holiday and when i am not working at home, I am working towards completing my commercial pilot licence. I love to fly and that is my passion. My biggest passion is to travel and see as many places as I can and meet as many new people as possible. I love adventures and trying out anything new.
